Executive summary

Jason is the regional managing principal for the Southeast at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC. He oversees Grant Thornton’s offices in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. This includes its operations in almost ten cities. As a Grant Thornton regional leader, Jason drives the firm’s strategy across the southeast and ensures his colleagues provide personalized, high-quality services to the firm’s clients.

Jason has worked at Grant Thornton for more than 20 years — the last four serving as the firm’s market managing principal in Atlanta. In that role, he led 350 professionals as they delivered accounting, tax and consulting services across a range of industries. He also implemented several initiatives to promote in-office diversity that reflect the makeup of Atlanta’s diverse community. Before becoming market managing  principal, Jason was Grant Thornton’s Audit & Assurance Practice Leader in Atlanta for almost nine years.

An auditor by training, Jason directly services some of Grant Thornton’s largest clients, a role that requires him to guide highly skilled professionals from different parts of the firm. He possesses extensive experience collaborating with public and private businesses in a range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, and life sciences. His industry knowledge has made him a sought-after resource at Grant Thornton, both locally and nationally. Further, his client-experience set ranges from pre-revenue businesses to multi-billion-dollar enterprises, giving him a deep understanding of varied business environments and their unique challenges.

In addition, he is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta — one of the oldest sustained community leadership programs in the nation. He currently serves as a board member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and is a member of The Carter Center Board of Councilors and the Rotary Club of Atlanta. In 2024, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named Jason to its Most Admired list.
