I’m in good company at Grant Thornton

When I was looking into companies I might apply to, I thought the lifestyle at a professional services firm would be overly competitive and intense. And as a social person, I wasn’t sure the hybrid working environment would be for me. But at Grant Thornton, I found the opposite.

My social battery is full

The people at Grant Thornton were what made me join the firm, and they've only made it better since. Everyone is here to help and build you up. And even in a hybrid setting, I have lots of opportunities to make connections — from networking through my role, to getting involved on the Houston office Social Committee and the Pan-Asian & Allies business resource group (BRG) national leadership team.

I keep my people close

I’m close to my family. Thanks to Grant Thornton’s flexible work opportunities, I have the lifestyle I want — living and spending time in downtown Houston — without compromising quality time with my parents (and our dog, Teddy). They live in a nearby suburb, and since I can work remotely, I visit them every couple of weeks and sometimes work from their house to spend some extra time with them.

I'm making a name for myself

Here, we get to jump into projects from the start. As an associate, I got exposure to many different types of valuations across industries, doing real work with firm leaders. And as Community Engagement Committee co-chair for our Pan-Asian & Allies BRG, I organized successful public speaking and mentorship programs, which have helped me become well-known in the Houston office and nationally.
